About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 Egg, hard boiled
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
½ c. Brown Butter, pourable, coolish
1/8 tsp. -1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
Preparation
Use Unsalted Butter for this Brown Butter Mayo Recipe
Make Brown Butter before making the mayo the same day if possible
Stir your Brown Butter off and on as it cools so that it stays mixed you want the brown bits and all the flavor to be mixed into the butter. You want the butter to be cool and pourable not cold and hard
In a 2c. jar place pealed Egg and Lemon Juice
Using an immersion blender blend up Egg into mash
Slowly add some Brown Butter then mix well and add more and mix well
Continue doing this until the Brown Butter is used up.
Use right a way if making a salad with it or store sealed in the fridge it will be come hard but it great to put on steaks, or in coffee. It may take an hour or two to get it to soften up again.
~at times you may need to remove the immersion blender and use a spatula to clean off sides and make sure your ingredients are being mixed well
~I used Salted Butter when I make brown butter so you don’t need to add any salt to this recipe.
~if you use unsalted butter you may want to add 1/8 tsp.– ¼ tsp. Sea salt when you put in the egg and lemon juice.
