Ingredients
Medium Cheddar or Smoked Gouda grated
Preparation
Dehydrator at a temp of 45c°/ 115f°
If you can put paper towel in your dehydrator make sure you cut the main air hole into the paper towel
Grate you cheese
Spread grated cheese out onto your drying racks, make sure you don’t miss any clumps
Start your dehydrator you don’t want to melt it just dry it
Check after 5 hours, you can take a bite if it is a little soft/chewy keep it going you want it all dry
Keep drying another 4 hours
Shut off dehydrator and let cheese cool
Take cheese off your paper towel and put it into a bowl
Using a small jug from a high speed blender add dried cheese
Blend until you make powder start on low speed and then high to make powder
~ 3c. grated cheese
~ 1 ¼ c. powdered cheese
~ Different dehydrators may have different drying times
